Sumit Banerjee received his B.E. degree from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India, M.E. degree from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi, India and Ph.D. degree from Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, India. Presently, he is Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, at Dr. B C Roy Engineering College, Durgapur, India. His research interests are Operation of Electric Power Distribution and Power System Operation Control, Microgrid and Machine Learning. He has published/presented more than 115 papers in International Journals/Conferences. He has authored 23 Books and 13 Book Chapters. He has received TataRao Award from Institute of Engineers (India) in 2014 for best paper.
