Dr. Kingsuk Majumdar is an accomplished Electrical Engineering Professor with over 11 years of experience specializing in power systems and renewable energy. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College in Durgapur, his academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from NIT Durgapur, complemented by M.Tech and B.Tech degrees in the same field. Dr. Majumdar has made significant contributions to academia with 6 international journal publications and 9 conference papers focusing on optimization techniques for power systems, renewable energy integration, and available transfer capability calculations. His innovative work has resulted in 2 patents in automation, with one already granted. As the In-Charge of Tesla Project Lab and Deputy SPOC (MOOCs, MAR and Mentoring) of BCREC at MAKAUT, he leads technological innovation while mentoring students in project development. Dr. Majumdar is also a co-founder of "Ankuraan," a startup supported by MANAGE-CIA and RKVY-RAFTAAR. His expertise spans MATLAB, Python, Linux, and various simulation tools like simulink and LTSpice XVII.
