1. About

BCR-APC conducts examinations as per the rules and regulations established by MAKAUT, WB. Under the said regulations, the current mode of examinations includes continuous assessment for both theory and practical papers along with end semester examinations for the same. The continuous assessment examinations per subject are held according to the following schedules.

1. Continuous Assessment 1 (CA1) – PowerPoint Presentation
2. Continuous Assessment 2 (CA2) – Report-based Evaluation
3. Continuous Assessment 3 (CA3) – Offline Pen-Paper based Examination
4. Continuous Assessment 4 (CA4) – Centralized Online Evaluation

In addition to these, the practical papers have continuous assessments in the form of PCA1 and PCA2 respectively per semester. The marks allotment for CA and end semester examinations are 25 marks per CA and 70 marks for end semester theory exams respectively. For practical papers, each PCA is allotted 40 marks while the end-semester practical evaluation is for 60 marks. A provision of 5 marks is provided along with the theory papers based on the attendance of the students. However, the university mandates a minimum of 75 percent attendance to be eligible for the end-semester examinations. The terms and conditions governing the examination process are issued under the purview of MAKAUT, WB, and are subject to change from time to time.
